The Sommers Ranch Headquarters Historic District is a historic ranch complex located southwest of Pinedale, Wyoming. The district includes 11 wooden buildings, including a homestead house, a bunkhouse, a barn, and various other farm buildings and outbuildings. [2] Albert P. "Prof" Sommers founded the ranch in 1908.

Ralph Wenz Field is named after Staff Sgt. Ralph Wenz of the United States Army Air Corps. Originally from Nebraska, Wenz moved to Wyoming before the war where he learned to fly airplanes, [4] worked as an air mail pilot, and built airfields. [4] He joined the military and became a radio operator with the Engineers Air Corps Division.
