Rangers Football Club is a Scottish professional association football club based in Govan, Glasgow. They have played at their home ground, Ibrox, since 1899. Rangers were founding members of the Scottish Football League in 1890, and the Scottish Premier League in 1998. Rangers have won 55 domestic top-flight league trophies.
Andrew Lewis Goram (13 April 1964 – 2 July 2022) was a Scottish footballer who played as a goalkeeper.Born in Bury, Lancashire, England, he started his career with Oldham Athletic and Hibernian, but he is best remembered for playing for Rangers during the 1990s, when he earned the nickname "The Goalie".
He is generally regarded as one of the country's greatest ever players. He was born, educated and started his career in Fife , but his peak playing years were in the early 1960s with the Glasgow club Rangers , whom he helped to win ten trophies between 1960 and 1965, and where he became known as "Slim Jim".
