The Dinosaur Game [1] (also known as the Chrome Dino) [2] is a browser game developed by Google and built into the Google Chrome web browser. The player guides a pixelated t-rex across a side-scrolling landscape, avoiding obstacles to achieve a higher score. The game was created by members of the Chrome UX team in 2014.
All versions of the game are played from a third-person top-down perspective. The game is played in a platforming-esque fashion, while most of the game consists of puzzles. The player's goal on each level is to complete tasks, such as defeating all enemy dinosaurs in an area, or locating and leading lost dinosaurs back to a herd.
