Montour County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.As of the 2020 census, the population was 18,136. [1] Its county seat is Danville. [2] The county is named for Andrew Montour, [3] a prominent Métis interpreter who served with George Washington during the French and Indian War.

[3] A proposed greenway known as the Limestone Run Greenway was mentioned in the Northumberland County Greenways Open Space Plan.
