Ralph was born on 24 September 1301, the son of Edmund de Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford and Margaret Basset. [citation needed] Having lost his father at the age of seven, Ralph grew up in the midlands with his mother's relatives, including her second husband Thomas Pipe.
Margaret de Audley, suo jure 2nd Baroness Audley and Countess of Stafford (c. 1318 [citation needed] – 7 September 1349 [1]) was an English noblewoman.She was the only daughter of Hugh de Audley, 1st Earl of Gloucester, by his wife Lady Margaret de Clare.
As a result the Births and Deaths Registration Act 1836 (6 & 7 Will. 4. c. 86) was passed that ordered the civil registration of births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales. This took effect from 1 July 1837. A General Register Office was set up in London and the office of Registrar General was established.
No issue, the marriage was reportedly never consummated. William Stafford, 4th Earl of Stafford (21 September 1375 – 6 April 1395). Inherited the earldom from his brother at the age of 14. However, over time the growing French population propagated the development and detailing of the parish register. Entries detailing births, marriages, baptisms and deaths were recorded and kept in the church of Notre Dame-de-la-Recouvrance. Unfortunately, in 1640 the church burned along with all parish records from 1620 to 1640.

Sir Ralph Stafford (c. 1355–1410) was a 14th- and 15th-century English MP.He was the second son of Sir John Stafford (died c. 1370), of Bramshall, Staffordshire.He was an influential member of the north Midlands gentry, due to his own office holding as well as the fact that his family was a cadet branch of the powerful Stafford family, later Dukes of Buckingham.
