The Crusaders attempt a final stand with only moments before the hour is up as Cheerilee jumps into the pit, knocking them aside.

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo welcome her at the train station. The trio try to persuade Babs Seed to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders by showing her their clubhouse. As Babs keeps looking, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon come to make fun of the Crusaders, and Babs ends up joining them in teasing and hounding.
Scootaloo is overjoyed to see them, but they shock her with their plans to take her with them as they move to Shire Lanka for a new job. The Crusaders devise several strategies to keep Scootaloo in Ponyville, but Snap and Mane push ahead with their plans and sell their house in preparation for the move.
However, all of Rarity's planned activities are things Sweetie Belle has outgrown, which she fails to notice. After finally growing annoyed with Rarity and leaving her, Sweetie Belle joins Apple Bloom and Scootaloo in helping another filly, Zipporwhill, reconnect with her pet dog, who has similarly grown disinterested in playing with her.
