Bungo Stray Dogs The Movie: Beast is a Japanese 2022 live-action film directed by Koichi Sakamoto and written by Kafka Asagiri. Based on a light novel spin-off from the Bungo Stray Dogs manga by Asagiri, the movie is set in an alternate universe from the franchise.
The Bungo Stray Dogs anime television series focuses on individuals who are gifted with supernatural powers and use them for different purposes including holding a business, solving mysteries, and carrying out missions assigned by the mafia. The story mainly follows the members of the "Armed Detective Agency" and their everyday lives.
Dazai, who was secretly working against Shibusawa, nullifies them, depriving the fog of its power source. However, having anticipated this, Shibusawa stabs Dazai with a poisoned knife, intending to steal his ability and transform Dazai into the core of the "dragon" – the chaos of all special abilities – to destroy Yokohama.
