I have a brand new Dillon 650 and I can't seem to get the powder measure to throw a consistent charge. It will give me what I want for a number of loaded rounds but then will vary by as much as .4grain for a subsequent charge.
I've got an a like new XL650 with case feeder, Strong mount, bullet tray and roller handle. As I remember it was 1100 or so from Dillon....Plus dies, tax, shipping.....
When I bought my first Dillon 650 I removed the fail safe rod first thing and put springs on the powder bar. When I transferred over to a 1050 I kept the same springs. Now over 33k rounds later I couldn’t imagine using the fail safe rod.

My buddy just ran first parts on his 3D printer for us and I must say they came out awesome. It's only the plastic tabs for the shell plate pins, but wow came out great. Guy on eBay sells them for 8-9 bucks. To make 16 tabs 8 for both of us cost .12 cents. Next up is live primer chute with a drop...
Have you checked out the various tech videos on the DIllon website? Product Videos| XL750 (dillonprecision.com) Your issues are almost always adjustment-related. Have you called the 800-223-4570 number while you are in front of the loader for assistance?
