In trying to open a particular program (On1 Resize 2019) in my brand new computer running Windows 10, I get the following messages: The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. and. The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to this site, you need to install Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019. Vcruntime is related to msvcr140 and comes in the same Visual C++ package. MSVCR140.dll – needs x86 for Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019 or x64 for Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019. However, I'm confused because of the _1.dll in the filename.
Replied on August 21, 2022. Report abuse. Hi, If you're using Windows 64-bit, download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Visual C++ redistributable package. vc_redist.x64.exe (x64 installer) vc_redist.x86.exe (x86 installer) Missing VCRUNTIME140.DLL, VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL, MSVCP140.DLL.
