I had about 150 flash cards to study the weekend before my AP exam for a class I never took. The trick is to make 3 piles. A, B and C. The A pile is words you definitely know and don't need to study, the B pile are words you're somewhat familiar with, but still need to study. And the C pile are words you don't know at all and need to study.
I use Quizlet to take all my notes, and then print them out. Now I can't print them in a way that I can study. This new format sucks :/. I found a solution: you can merge multiple sets together and then select print which will take you to the classic printing layout page.
The general estimate you find on the internet is that most users can do 50 new cards per hour (or 100-120 review cards). I do that as well with a difficult subject. 1000 cards would take 20 hours. Yes, 1000 reviews that is, new cards gonna be hard maybe impossible unless it's easy to memorise by nature.
