The Countryman WRC is the rallying version of Mini Cooper S ALL4 developed with Prodrive beginning in early 2009, with a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-charged engine from BMW Motorsport. A number of different motor vehicles were marketed under the Austin A40 name by Austin between 1947 and 1967. 2-door Austin A40 Dorsets and 4-door Austin A40 Devons for the home and export markets, from about 1947 until 1952. Austin's naming scheme at that time derived from the approximate engine output, in horsepower.

[114] The Countryman is the chosen donor model and Prodrive have been selected to prepare the Mini Countryman WRC. The factory team competed in a reduced programme for the 2011 WRC season, before cutting funding.

The Austin A70 Hampshire and later Austin A70 Hereford are cars that were produced by Austin of Britain from 1948 until 1954. They were conventional body-on-frame cars with similar styling to the smaller A40 Devon and A40 Somerset models respectively, though with an entirely different larger and wider body on chassis construction. 85,682 were built.
