Robinsons Supermarket is a supermarket chain in the Philippines and a division of Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI). It is the second largest supermarket chain in the Philippines with 151 branches (as of 2024) across the country.
Founded by Filipino industrialist John L. Gokongwei, Jr. in 1980, Robinsons Retail started as Robinsons Department Store in Robinsons Place Manila. It expanded into supermarkets in 1985, DIY in 1994, convenience stores and specialty stores in 2000, and drugstores in 2012. Robinsons Retail also launched a chain of community malls in 2015. [4]
Robinsons Manila is located beside the University of the Philippines Manila and the Philippine General Hospital, and is built at the site of the former Ateneo de Manila Campus before it moved to Loyola Heights, Quezon City. The first major expansion of the mall happened when it opened its Padre Faura Wing in June 2000.

Robinsons Malls is one of the largest shopping malls and retail operators in the Philippines. [1] It was incorporated on September 9, 1997, by entrepreneur John Gokongwei Jr. to develop, conduct, operate and maintain the Robinsons commercial shopping centers and all related businesses, such as the lease of commercial spaces within the compound of shopping centers.
The mall features a Robinsons Supermarket as its anchor tenant. It formerly housed a Robinsons Department Store until 2024, when it closed to be converted to more retail space. Like other Ayala Malls, it also houses global clothing retailers including a two-level H&M store, as well as Anytime Fitness.
Robinsons Metro East is situated along Marikina–Infanta Highway, located at Barangay Dela Paz in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines, near the tripoint boundary of Marikina, Metro Manila and Cainta, Rizal Province.
