Kagamil Island is one of the four mountains of the Aleutian Archipelago. It is located on the Western tip of Alaska, bordering the Bering Sea. [4] This island was given the Unangam Tunuu name by Captain Tebenov in 1852 when he discovered the island. Kagamil had also received various names by other Russian explorers.
