The Swiss Basketball League, also known as SB League or SBL, is the top-tier professional club basketball league in Switzerland. It is organized by Swiss Basketball. The winners of the SBL are crowned Swiss national basketball champions. Currently, twelve teams compete in the league.
The next Swiss entry into the European Basketball Championship was at the EuroBasket 1951 tournament in Paris. Switzerland finished the preliminary round with a 1–3 record, 4th in their group. They fared little better in the first classification, taking 3rd in the group with a 1–2 record.
They began on 23 April 2024 and were played through 8 May 2024. The top six finishers in the regular season qualified for the playoffs directly, while the teams placed from seventh to tenth battled for the remaining two seeds in a play-in tournament. The playoffs consist of four series of two teams each, to be played in a best-of-five format.

The league is also sometimes referred to as National League A (NLA or LNA). Currently the SB League Women is granted one spot in the FIBA EuroCup Women.
