Try the game and the mod that needs XML injector. Any of the game's computer objects. Clicking on any Sim. In the "Friendly" chat choices when clicking on another Sim. From a Sim on the relationship panel. From the "Household" phone category. If it works you can delete the package file.
The XML Injector for The Sims 4 is a mod library to allow mods that would normally require a script for simple changes to instead use a custom snippet. The library provides the scripting, and the modder can release their mod without having to concern themselves with writing, compiling and maintaining a script. Currently the XML Injector snippet ...
it’s safe. you can find it on the scumbumbo mods site. Have been using it for more than a year. No problems. Through scumbumbos site it does not use adfly and is very safe and needed. It’s required for a lot of mods to work but I don’t know if the site is safe to go on or whether it uses AdFly or not.
First, you should never have .zip files in your mods folder, only .package or .ts4script files (.cfg files are also okay, they're settings related). Start by getting rid of those. Second, have you updated xml injector to the most recent one?
I'm going to assume that you've got v4 from either Scumbumbo's website or Curseforge, since you've said that you've checked it. If you have the XML injector in your mods folder, it could be a mod that calls it, and not be the XML injector itself. EstablishmentOwn4605. •.
Help! Hello simmers!🤗 I wanted to get the xml injector because of a few mods which require it, but I heard a while ago, that if done wrong it can potentially break your game?😬 most people don't seem to have any issues and I know that mods always carry a risk of creating errors, so I am assuming it was probably a random occurrence for them ...
You might be able to find the problem more quickly this way. Take out half your mods (put them in a folder on your desktop or somewhere where you will remember it. Make sure that this new folder is not in your sims 4 folder, because the game may still register those) and then clear your cache. Load up the game.
Is anyone else having trouble with the XML INJECTOR? I need it in order to make another mod work, but when I started playing the game with the mods, my game was so laggy I couldn't even play it. The mods were working, though. After I removed the XML Injector, my game started to run normally again. The only other mod I have is the MC Command.
In your temporary injector file, either at the top or second line from the top you'll see a line similar to this: <I c="XmlInjector" i="snippet" m="xml_injector.snippet" n="Triplis_XmlInjector_AddSatisfactionStoreRewards" s="13987351244139877815"> Change the name from Triplis to either your handle or the one of the mod creator's.
Honestly just because you removed it, doesn't mean it's the issue. Usually, more often than not it's a mod that uses the XML injector that's the issue. You can test this by loading your game with only the XML injector script file. If you get no error, you'll need to 5050 from there. I (YourFalseHope) make a lot of cc traits and mods that rely ...
