The Democratic Party of Albania (Albanian: Partia Demokratike e Shqipërisë, PDSH or PD) is a conservative [6] [7] [8] political party in Albania.It has been the largest opposition party in the country since 2013.
The PSD was formed in March 1991, [3] and was admitted into Socialist International at its XIX congress in 1992. [5] The party contested the 1992 parliamentary elections, winning seven seats. [6]
SFIDA is an anti-establishment party that promotes direct democracy, mandate limitation and vetting for politicians. SFIDA is a follow-up of the movement "Ne, Tirana" which supported Gjergj Bojaxhi during local elections in 2015, where he ran as an independent candidate for Tirana's city hall. The party does not have a traditional leader.

At 10:00 on September 10, 2021, the new X Legislature of the Albanian Parliament started in a session that was expected to be formal. The session was chaired by the oldest MP, who was Mrs. Luljeta Bozo from the ranks of the Socialists, who was elected for the first time as an MP at the age of 78. [6]
