Natick (/ ˈ n eɪ t ɪ k / NAY-tik) is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. It is near the center of the MetroWest region of Massachusetts, with a population of 37,006 at the 2020 census. [1] 10 miles (16 km) west of Boston, Natick is part of the Greater Boston area.
The original Natick Mall was developed by businessmen William Lane, Stephen Mugar, and John Brennan. Construction began in 1965, connecting two stand-alone locations of Sears and Filene's (which had opened in March and August 1965, respectively), with a 600,000-square-foot (56,000-square-meter), single-level shopping venue with 30 in-line stores.

East Natick is a small village in Warwick, Rhode Island. It is centered on the intersection of Bald Hill Road and East Avenue. The village is separated from Natick proper by the railroad (now the Washington Secondary Trail), and the Pawtuxet River. The other nearby village is Pontiac, which is northerly across the Pawtuxet.
