Sea Island Centre is an at-grade station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. The Vancouver International Airport Authority contributed up to $300 million toward the airport branch of the Canada Line, which includes Sea Island Centre. [2]
The station is located in close proximity to numerous Asian-themed shopping centres along Richmond's Golden Village, including (from north to south) Yaohan Centre, President Plaza, Aberdeen Centre, and Parker Place. The station's east (northbound) platform is connected via overhead walkway across to Aberdeen Square and Aberdeen Centre malls.
Bridgeport station is located near the intersection of River Road and Great Canadian Way—north of Bridgeport Road and in the same general area as the River Rock Casino—and is the northernmost SkyTrain station in Richmond. The Canada Line's Operations and Maintenance Centre is located northeast of the station.
From Bridgeport station, the Canada Line splits into two branches, one heading west to the YVR–Airport station at Vancouver International Airport and the other continuing south to the Richmond–Brighouse station in Richmond's city centre. Opened on August 17, 2009, the Canada Line added 15 stations and 19.2 km (11.9 mi) to the SkyTrain network.

Like YVR–Airport, Richmond–Brighouse only has a single track.
