The Cumberland Gap is one of many passes in the Appalachian Mountains, but one of the few in the continuous Cumberland Mountain ridgeline. Breaks Interstate Park is located about 5 miles (8 km) east of Elkhorn City, Kentucky. The park covers 4,500 acres (1,800 ha).
