Metro-North's East of Hudson lines will operate a normal Saturday schedule on Saturday, Aug. 31, and a Sunday schedule on both Sunday, Sept. 1, and Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2. Normal weekday service resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The schedule changes include the addition of 66 weekday trains to Metro-North's three East of Hudson lines. The addition of more weekday trains brings the railroad’s weekday service to 89% of its pre-pandemic levels and restores pre-pandemic express service at several stations.
Monthly and weekly tickets to/from Manhattan on the New Haven Line are accepted on the Harlem and Hudson lines where the value of the Harlem/Hudson monthly/weekly ticket is the same or less. 10-Trip tickets on the Harlem and Hudson lines are not accepted on the New Haven Line and vice versa.
