Continuing education course, in this specialty, sponsored by the American Chiropractic Association Council of Chiropractic Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation. The program consists of 100 post-doctoral hours, run through the continuing education programs of accredited Chiropractic colleges, and culminating in an examination. CCSP [6]
The mission of the FCLB is to maintain high, uniform standards in areas related to chiropractic licensure, regulation, discipline, and education. The organization provides services to member chiropractic licensing boards to fulfill their statutory obligations and regulate the profession within the interest of public protection.
The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has a "Code of Ethics" [1] "based upon the acknowledgement that the social contract dictates the profession’s responsibilities to the patient, the public, and the profession; and upholds the fundamental principle that the paramount purpose of the chiropractic doctor's professional services shall be to benefit the patient."
The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners issued a statement supporting CCE's decision. Life appealed, but in October 2002, CCE ruled against it. Life University eventually had its accreditation restored. More recently, they have been facing additional issues stemming from how they handled classes and clinic during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The ICA, along with the American Chiropractic Association, is listed as a national chiropractic association representing the United States at the World Federation of Chiropractic, [3] with representation on the executive council. [4] It has individual members all over the world who pay dues, and in that sense they remain "international". [5]
Examinations are offered to students at chiropractic colleges accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). The NBCE maintains its headquarters in Greeley, Colorado. The organization was established in 1963 to standardize chiropractic testing requirements as opposed to each state having its own board exam.
