My 'Random Name Generator' sytem is 2d6 for length, then d6 (1-4 consonant, 5-6 vowel) for each letter, then 1d20 for consonant (in alphabetical order) or 1d6 for vowel (including 'y') Granted, at least one-third of the time this produces gibberish or otherwise-terrible names, but most of those can be 'fixed' by judicious modification on my part.
If it is the only continent, it needn’t a name, as people will only refer to the places in it. When you ask an American where they are from, most of the time they just say which state they are from. If it is not the only continent, you can apply a term to it relative to its environment.

The translations are loose but I try to get them as close to something real as I can while still fitting the fantasy theme I'm looking for. Sometimes I use an online generator. For example: The northern most continent is more Scandinavian. I tried to use old norse inspiration for it but it also has some Celtic influences.

Here's a tip, it doesn't matter. You can be as flamboyant or as dull as you want. As long as the name isn't borderline unpronounceable or juvenile you can call your continent's whatever you want. Game of thrones' main continent is called westeros because it's west. Dark souls' kingdom is called lordran because it's the birthplace of lords.
