John O'Gaunt Golf Club is a golf club, located two-and-a-half miles to the north-east of Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, England, just north of the village of Sutton. [1] It was established in 1948. The Club has two 18-hole courses; the original John O'Gaunt and the Carthagena which opened in 1980.

Sutton Bridge Golf Club, established in 1914, is a nine-hole golf course in and around the abandoned dock basin. [6] The concrete walls of the dock, some 15 feet high, form part of the course. The modern Port Sutton Bridge opened in 1987. [7] It is a 62-acre dry cargo port and warehouse complex.

The club was formed on 5 March 1898 when Sutton Guild Rovers F.C. and Sutton Association F.C. (formerly Sutton St Barnabas F.C.) agreed to merge [1] during a meeting at the Robin Hood Hotel. The club gained a reputation locally in junior leagues, including the Clapham League, [ 2 ] and in 1910 decided to become a senior side. [ 1 ]
