In the old version of Word, you could find files you'd been working on by looking at the drop-down menu under "File." They would be listed there and you could just click on it and it would take you right to the file. Where do recent files live in the new version of Word? I want to be able to get to them quickly. Temp files are created in the same folder as the file. They are hidden files, but you can list them in Terminal using the ls -l command. They will have the first 2 characters of the file name replaced by ~$ .
