Amar Nastaleeq (Urdu: امر نستعلیق) is a Nastaliq style Embedded OpenType and TrueType Font which was lowest in size, created for web embedding on Urdu websites in 2013. Noori Nastaleeq is a nastaleeq used in Pakistan. [1] It was first created as a digital font in 1981 as the collaboration between Ahmed Mirza Jamil and Monotype Imaging. [2]In 1982, the Government of Pakistan named the nastaleeq as an "Invention of National Importance". [2]
