When an iPad is mirrored, it is an exact mirror of screen size ratio of the iPad's screen. This has always been the case. Also, for some mirrored content from the iPad, like movies, the screen size is even smaller, sometimes containing black areas all around the mirrored image. This has always, ALWAYS been the norm and expected behaviour. Sorry.
when screen mirroring from an iPad Pro gen 2 to an Apple TV I am consistently getting a black screen. I can screen share from the iPad to another device and I can share my IPhone onto the tv, just not with that Apple TV. Both devices are fully updated. Any ideas what to try next? thanks,
Screen mirroring I have an LG tv and I have always been able to Screen Mirror my iPad 10.2. I haven’t changed any settings on either pieces of equipment but when I open screen mirroring my tv isn’t there to mirror. I continue to be able to play sound music through the LG tv but not any screen. please help
It does a fine job of mirroring what is on the iPad/iPhone screen. But I am disappointed that it does not fill the 1920 x 1080 TV screen. There are blank areas on all 4 sides of the video image. If I use my laptop to display the movie using an HDMI cable and the laptop’s screen mirroring function, it fills the TV screen beautifully.
