I just search YouTube to WAV and use the first search result that pops up. I have one called Youtube-DLG. You can give it a YouTube link and it will convert it to mp3. My favorite part about it is that it also works with a link to a YouTube playlist, making it easy to convert a lot of videos at one time.
btw converting from youtube's compressed lossy opus audio to wav is a no no since lossy to lossless conversions make no sense at all. if you're wanting to download music your best bet is to download from Deezer or look on Soulseek to see if someone is sharing it
I tried a couple of youtube 2 wav websites but one almost gave me a virus. Also, I am specifically looking for youtube 2 wav, not youtube 2 mp3, as that's just what works better for me on FL Studio.
If the converted .wav sounds worse than the .mp3, change your converter as it's bad; there should be no difference. Reply reply More replies Mental_Broccoli4837
r/SmallYoutubers is a place where people new to YouTube can grow. Our goal if for you learn from each other, and make your channel the best that it can be. YouTube is not easy. It’s also not an overnight success. You need to put in the effort to get to where you want to be.
Then mix it with the other. If they're the same, you're seeing a completely flat line - this is referred to as a null test . If you save it as WAV you print it to disk "as is" (with the YT compression losses). If you save as mp3 or any other lossy compressed format, you add yet another round of compression to it.

been looking to download my full youtube playlist of samples but im waaaaay too lazy to do each individual sample on a single link converter (i have over 200+ samples in it). id honestly be willing to pay for a program that would do ut good enough if i could find one that did it to wav or mp3. all the ones ive seen online are just to mp4 or some other video format
Except compatibility wav is worse in every way than getting the original format. The quality wouldn't improve over mp3, but you would lose tag support and need bigger files. Youtube-dl be default chooses the best audio track available, so it is best to just use that. If you need wav, then you could convert it with youtube-dl too.
I think VLC media player has the ability to strip the audio from a video file. I'm sure it can convert WAV to FLAC, which I like because WAV files can't retain the metadata I want in my music library. J Downloader 2 can also selectively download the audio from YouTube videos
