A Lego theme is a product line of Lego construction toys produced by The Lego Group based on a central concept. Before 1978, Lego produced several construction sets with common themes, but they were not necessarily branded as part of a single series or theme.
The Lego brick was invented by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen in 1958. [2] After the brand's success, employees at the Lego factory in Billund, Denmark started to put Lego models outside. As these models became popular with visitors to the factory, it was decided to turn them into a tourist attraction - becoming first ever Legoland. [3]

Ole Kirk Christiansen. Ole Kirk Christiansen (born Ole Kirk Kristiansen; [a] 7 April 1891 – 11 March 1958) was a Danish carpenter. In 1932, he founded the construction toy company Lego, later known as The Lego Group. Christiansen transformed his small woodworking shop, which initially sold household products, into a manufacturer of wooden toys.
