Jacksonville is a city in Morgan County, Illinois, United States. The population was 17,616 at the 2020 census, [5] down from 19,446 in 2010. It is the county seat of Morgan County. [6] It is home to Illinois College, Illinois School for the Deaf, and the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired, and was formerly home to MacMurray College.
Illinois Route 3 (IL 3) is a 187.44-mile-long (301.66 km) major north–south arterial state highway in southwestern Illinois. Shortly thereafter, the four-lane highway reduces down to two lanes once again. The highways are then joined by IL 100 right before IL 104 splits away to the west.
