BILLINGS, Mont. - A fire has broken out at the Phillips 66 Refinery just outside of Billings. Smoke was seen billowing from the refinery from the nearby I-90. NonStop Local has a reporter on the scene working to get information on the nature of the fire.
BILLINGS, Mont. - Billings Police Department (BPD) reports that Skyway Drive has temporarily been closed as multiple fire crews work to contain a wildfire. According to BPD, the wildfire is between Skyway Drive and Alkali Creek Road.

Ricky Buckhanan was arraigned Tuesday morning with a bond set at $1 million. If Buckhanan posts bail, he will be subject to GPS monitoring and has a no contact order with the victim or witnesses in the case. Buckhanan is wanted in Mississippi for violations related to a 2016 burglary conviction.

The 15-year-old boy killed in last Friday's crash has been identified as Gavin McCombs of Billings. According to the Yellowstone County Coroner's Office his cause of death was ruled as blunt force impact injuries of the head and right lower extremity.
BILLINGS, Mont. - A man died Wednesday as a result of a crash involving a truck on South Billings Boulevard Tuesday. A car and the truck were both going southbound on South Billings Boulevard, and the truck stopped for a school bus that had its lights flashing and was letting children off.
