I have had to reinstall my operating system and need to reinstall Akrobat 9 Pro Extended, for which I have 2 licenses. I have found my product keys but can't find a place to download anything other than patches. Can you provide me a link to the executable? I have however found a link to 9 Pro but not 9 Pro Extended.
Silly question but , looks like only Acrobat 9 Pro on there, doesn't mention Extended. Are they basically the same or is it all done with the serial keys on that version. Thanks.
Ok, a lot of different things there. Some you can do with the free Acrobat Reader, but others need Acrobat Pro. Acrobat 9 Extended does some things that Adobe later stopped, but it doesn't sound as if you are there. So the current version. Perpetual license: Acrobat Pro 2017 (not recommended)
If you are reinstalling Acrobat 9, you should use Adobe's Acrobat 9 Clean Up Utility to remove all traces of the previous installation: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
I've been using Acrobat for years. I've paid for version 5, upgrade 6 and upgrade 9 pro. In the normal course of things the 9 pro was updated with Adobe's latest. But I want to go back to version 9 pro. With versions 5,6 & 9 uninstalled, my plan was to reinstall 5, then the upgrade for 6 and finally the upgrade for 9 pro.
Try this - change the system date to May 31 2013. (just 1 step and it gets fixed) Run the update. Acrobat will now find updates and it will get you to 9.2.0. AFter the 9.2 update, upon reboot, it will download all updates to 9.5.5 and upon the next reboot, you will be at 9.5.5.
