Cove Lake State Park maintains a 106-site campground, an indoor pavilion, a restaurant, and several athletic fields and courts. Several small walking trails meander through the park, including a 3.5-mile (5.6 km) paved trail that follows the lakeshore and a trail that provides access to Wheeler Cemetery and Caryville Dam on the east side of US-25W.
The original Kia Kima facilities (pre-1963) have been restored and maintained as Old Kia Kima by a separate non-profit group. Camp Currier, Eudora, Mississippi, near Memphis, was founded in 1925 to host weekend camping and training events throughout the year. (The more remote Kia Kima operated only during the summer for most of its history.)
The group campground is for group camping and includes two picnic table pavilions, portable toilets, and a non-potable well with pitcher pump. This site is for groups of at least 8 and up to 25. There are two permits available per day. This site allows only tents or pop up campers. Generator use is not permitted in this campground.
