Franklinville is a village in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 1,740 at the 2010 census. [6] The community was named after William Temple Franklin, an agent with the Holland Land Company and the grandson of Founding Father Benjamin Franklin. The village is in the northeast part of the town of Franklinville
