    I would like to put my two cents in. I feel that for consistently, everything that MoS states that is to be in italics, should be in italics everywhere is appears on Wikipedia. So not just in regular text, but also in lists, tables, templates and anywhere else it appears. The same with short works. Every time they appear should be in double quotes.
