Gen 6 IPad, updated iOS (15.7), App Store won’t connect. Help! The App Store on my Gen6 IPad will not connect. I open it and it appears to load (the icons are there) but the bulk of the page is blank with Cannot Connect - Retry. I’ve updated to iOS 15.7, but it still won’t connect. Help!

It opens on my older iPad, but not on my iPad Pro. I held down on the icon and opened the menu, clicked on “search” and it opened. Now opens when I simply click on the icon. Thanks. I was able to hold on the Store Icon, selected Search and then selected the Apps option.
I have an iPad air 8 for my son and I set the install app, deleting apps and in-app purchases set to Don't allow so my son wont download just any app without my permission. When I tried to set the app store to allow so I can update the apps on his ipad. the store will show up then after a couple secs would disappear.
The App Store is hidden on her iPad because I have the installation of apps “Not Allowed”. I “Allowed” the installation of apps so that the App Store app would appear and after 1-2 seconds it disappeared again, so we can’t access the App Store.

The App Store app cannot be deleted so it is somewhere on your device. It can be hidden by you, or by an administrator if your device is managed by an education or business institution. In the latter case you need to contact the administrator, in this case your mother. See if you hid it with restrictions:
