Can you please check if the volume is set to low for system volume and for FxSound Audio Enhancer through control panel. In Control Panel, search for Sound. First check the volume by clicking Adjust system volume. Next click on Manage audio devices and then select FxSound Audio Enhancer. Right-click and select Properties.

The Loudness Equalizer keeps sound output from all applications on your computer within a consistent volume range. Long takes a longer time to level the output, and balances out the sound quality, while Short does it faster. You’ll probably need to test this for yourself to determine which setting you find the most satisfying.
You can tell Windows what audio device to use for the software you use to play music. Say, if you use Spotify, right click the audio icon on the toolbar tray (bottom right) and click Open Volume Mixer. The apps using sound will be listed, click Spotify and for Output Device, change it from Default to your sound device.

Hi Dumbpaper1, Here’s a thread where a user had a similar problem; exactly the same problem, actually. As you can see, there wasn’t a clear solution.
The best thing to do, is probably to download @Dolmatov’s preset pack (linked below), and combine it with my workaround for unlimited presets, in order to discover those that work best for your taste.
