Posted on Jan 15, 2023 6:37 AM. The iPad Air2 is capable of update to iPadOS 15.7.2 - this being the most recent system software (and security) update for this model of iPad. The iPad Air2 does not support iPadOS16.x. While the iPad Air2 cannot be updated to iPadOS16, your iPad is still supported - and still receives essential security updates.

iPad Air, iPadOS 15. Posted on Apr 4, 2022 6:08 AM. Posted on Jun 21, 2022 9:02 AM. My iPad Air 5 is less than a week old. In roughly an hour's use this morning, battery life has dropped from 100% to 65%. Plus, the device is quite warm. Battery life on my iPad Air 3 is far better without the heat.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 3200 mah battery and the note 4 only has a 3220 mah battery with 2k res screen a better cpu clocked at 2. 7 ghz (snapdragon 805)compared to 2.3 ghz (snapdragon 800), and more features yet the note 4 battery life is about the same and if note better then the note 3.

The 2014 iPad Air 2 has had the longest support from Apple, for a total of 8-years of full support with support ending at iPadOS 15.
Every iPad I have owned, I usually average around 8-9 hours. Coincidentally my M2 Air showed up today and it had 93% battery life and it’s now down to 80% with 1 hour of screen time. That includes a software update. Usually, a recently updated iPhone or iPad will show more background activity.
