Nagri means "of or pertaining to an abode (nagar)". Hence, Sylhet Nagri denotes from the abode or city of Sylhet. In recent times it has come to be known as Sylheti Nagri although this name was not used in the classical manuscripts such as Pohela Kitab by Muhammad Abdul Latif. [13]

Ganapati (Telugu: గణపతి) (1920) is a Telugu novel written by Chilakamarti Lakshmi Narasimham. [1] [2] It is one of the first Telugu novels written in modern Telugu and considered among the classic works of modern Telugu literature. It is also considered the first humorous novel in modern Telugu writing. [3]
Nanduri worked in various editorial capacities, in Andhra Patrika Telugu newspaper, between 1948 and 1960. Later he rendered his services as honorary editor to Udayam daily. [ 3 ] Later, he joined the newly formed newspaper Andhra Jyothy in 1960, where he retired as the editor, in 1994.
