I don't think it has anything to do with being an INFP, though ! I speak Hebrew and French, and I am slowly learning English thanks to the internet. CircusCat.
1653 posts · Joined 2012. #15 · Oct 16, 2012 (Edited) I'm also a Dutch native speaker. I speak German and well... English, obviously. I also learned French and Portuguese, but as I don't use those languages, I can't speak and hardly read them anymore. @LiteratureNerd, German is a great language.
Anyway, as much as the concept of the 5 Love Languages help us to understand another person's love language, I find it's actually easier to be with someone who gives love and receives love like I do. There are much less misunderstandings. For instance, my partner can just figure out and tell me, "You need some attention. Come here closer.
