asus RMA is a lie. They have a page for submitting RMA request, but it doesn't even work (Keep erroring out saying SN is invalid), submitting RMA request for consumer just go into 500. I tried it for weeks hoping they will fix it and they still didn't.

Hopefully this is the wake up call that forces ASUS to stop being anti-consumer with their RMA process. I've been buying MSI motherboards the last few years b/c of my awful experience trying to RMA one of ASUS's defective boards.

Very similar to my recent RMA experience with ASUS. The CID damage in my case was a missing PCIE clip from one of the x16 slots. After months of back and forth, and them admitting it is a removable part that doesn't serve any function other than to help secure cards in place, I sent them 2 clips from a for-parts motherboard I bought from ebay.

TLDR:I've had a frustrating RMA experience with Asus for my motherboard. Despite successfully replacing the CPU with a new unit, the motherboard replacements were recertified, showing visible damage and testing revealed USB hub defects.

  7. [DISCUSSION] My ASUS RMA Experience (Spoiler: It was fine)

    www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/17ui637/discussion_my_asus_rma_experience...

By November 6th, I received an email telling me the repair center had received my graphics card and would start repairing it, but warned me that the aftermath of the covid outbreak could cause issues with it's completion time. The estimated repair date on the ASUS RMA website was November 14th. That's fine, understandable.

I (in the UK) ordered an ASUS ROG Flow last year and the performance was worse than I expected, but it worked. Then it developed a fault and had to go in for an RMA repair. This is understandable, it happens. Anyway it came back 'repaired'. However, a few months down the line and it has the same fault. ASUS customer service is horrific.

Don’t get me started on ASUS RMA! I have 3!! Z690i rig strix motherboards- the first 2 we’re damaged in transit resulting in the socket caps being dislodged and pins bent. Asus refused refunds because they don’t cover socket pins even though I had nothing to do with it. Bunch of crooks

As probably tons of you know Asus RMA process is just AWFUL!!! but I'm a facts dude so let me enlighten you all.
