r/OhioLiquor: Finding and enjoying liquor sold in Ohio. Thinking of heading down for the festival this year since it is over my birthday weekend.
Some people are not assholes and hoard info. I cannot guarantee this list is perfect, but should be mostly accurate for central Ohio. I started with a list posted on Facebook and then added from there… Delivery Days: 📦 Kroger Sancus Rd: Monday Kroger Polaris Monday Kroger Delaware (23): Monday
I always love seeing when members post Ohio-relevant reviews in r/bourbon then crosspost them here but I would never dream of trying to replace r/bourbon, r/whisky, r/scotch, r/tequila, r/mezcal, r/rum, r/gin, or any other spirit-specific sub as the place to go for reviews.
If it was Acme Fairlawn, you’d be playing guessing games with the jackass liquor store manager holding back anything special release (not actually allocated) for his buddies (like the Old Charter last week and what he’ll do with Michter’s BSR when they get it tomorrow).

It's admirable that Ohio charges MSRP, and that Buffalo trace doesn't price gouge, but people will identify and exploit a money making opportunity when they see it, and there are seemingly no consequences for illegal liquor selling. Admittedly our criminal justice system has bigger fish to fry.
Pretty sure the store does not control or own the stock, it's all Ohio Liquor Control. Years ago, the few stores were all state-owned, state employes and 100% state-controlled. Reply reply
Ohio controls all spirits 42 Proof and above in State Liquor Stores. Not really going to see a big one like you will other states as they all pretty much have the same exact things and they have pretty heavy restrictions.
