It was alleged that Curtis Harvey, 21, of Oriskany Falls, hit a woman in the face while she held a child. The woman tried to leave the house with the child, but Harvey "prevented her from leaving to get help," according to the Sheriff's Office.
The driver of the pickup truck was unable to see the child because of dark roads and the headlights from the northbound vehicle. The child was taken to the Wynn Hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries. No tickets have been issued; however, the investigation is ongoing.
ORISKANY FALLS, N.Y. -- A man accused in a domestic violence incident in Oriskany Falls was released from the hospital today and charged. The Oneida County Sheriff's Office said that Amjad Rashid Jr., 44, unlawfully imprisoned a woman and hit her several times.
