The BWF Super Series was a series of Grade 2 badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It was launched on December 14, 2006 and implemented in 2007. [1] Since 2011, the Super Series includes two levels of tournament, Super Series Premier and Super Series.

The 2023 China Masters was the thirty-third tournament of the 2023 BWF World Tour and was also part of the China Masters championships, which have been held since 2005. This tournament was organized by the Chinese Badminton Association with sanction from the BWF.

The Ruichang China Masters (Chinese: 中国瑞昌羽毛球大师赛) is a Super 100 badminton tournament under the new BWF Tour format held in China. Previously it was known as Lingshui China Masters in 2018–2019. In 2023, the Super 100 tournament moved from Lingshui, Hainan to Ruichang, Jiangxi. [1]
The 32 tournaments are divided into five levels: Level 1 is the said World Tour Finals, Level 2 called Super 1000 (4 tournaments), Level 3 called Super 750 (6 tournaments), Level 4 called Super 500 (9 tournaments) and Level 5 called Super 300 (12 tournaments). Each of these tournaments offers different ranking points and prize money.
