Im in southern Cali so I figured i'd email West Coast customs since they are pretty famous and do a lot of high end cars. Ok get this, they want $6500 LOL i thought i read it wrong at first. The kit is around 1g so they are basically asking for $5500 for labor. Thats over $1000 an hour.

I usually fill up at Gulf (93 octane) and at least once a month I take it to Shell and fill up with their 93. Apparently its of a higher quality so I like to go to Shell (I don't have Chevron near ...
Cracked Tail Shaft (Tailshaft) Housing. My new local BMW dealer (West Coast) carried out an oil service yesterday. They brought 3 things to my attention (pleased it wasn't more): 1) Front brake pads will need to be replaced soon (I expected this from the condition when I bought the car 4 months ago); 2) Clutch shudder if you don't make a quick ...
Places to look. 1. Lift the bonnet and look at the seam on the edge of the bonnet near the headlights. 2. Petrol cap area. 3. Rear panel below the boot lid and above the bumper. There is a gromet that I have seen rust around. 4.
One came from West Coast the other mid west; one enclosed, single car trailer the other open transport. The Cali to VA was 2 days ahead of schedule the other was right on time. I was told by the Boston BMW my 2016 M5 manual was the last manual literally to be built/come off the factory line. So just tying to figure out if this is true or not. It would be cool to know this.
Gold Class - Most Reflective wax in our history. Some waxes and polymers are not optically correct. In other words, the light is not reflecting 100% due to refraction. This hurts clarity and gloss. Gold Class uses optically correct polymers, rich polishing oils to create a deep dark shine.
Not the most scientific of methods, but I'm sure you get the idea. It's 10-5/8" from center of bolt to perch of the stock unit, and about 11-1/4" on the FSD. This is for KONI part #2100-4030. A couple M5 owners have cut their springs to suit the new perch location. I would prefer a more sensible solution.
Awesome, thank you for the information. DCT > SMG is absolutely an excellent acceptable solution. I would really prefer the S85 instead of going the usual LS route if possible.
