Like Camtasia or bandicam but without their big price and creepy interface and bad webcam recording. It's must be some basic editor with split/cut, add images, sound replace, and combinig video files.

Jun 15, 2017. #1. HI. I have googled this umpteen times and can only find 2007 answers that are no longer relevant. I want to remove the time stamp on the start of the video, there is says 'my video.flv' i can't see the need for it. I looked in advanced setting / file name formatting and this just changed the video name.
Format. Details. AVC/H.264 (Default) H.264 is the default codec in OBS. It is fairly old (standardised 2004), but ubiquitous for web video and will be playable on nearly every device or software. For most streaming services it is currently the only supported codec. Excellent support in editing software. HEVC/H.265.
I've not got anything else for channel 2 yet so I basically went into the Advanced Audio Properties and set the microphone to channel 2 only. When it was set to channel 1 it would record and the audio was in the finished movie file. If I now as above change it to channel 2 and hit record again then the video records but the audio is silent.
When you start OBS Studio, you start with a blank scene by default.
