" Guantanamera" (pronounced [ɡwantanaˈmeɾa]; Spanish for 'The woman from Guantánamo') [1] is a Cuban patriotic song, which uses a poem from the collection Simple Verses, by the Cuban poet José Martí, for the lyrics.
