Oh yeah being svc doesnt matter the VC are for wiring options. Im suprised you havent blown the sony subs yet. But the power ratings dont have to be exact that 200 would sound so much louder on a set of infinity subs mainly due to quality over sony, and the assasins are even higher quality than infinity, alpine and kicker.
memphis VS kicker. im throwing around ideas for subs and wondering how these 15" kickers would match up against these 15" memphis. i noticed the magnet size on the memphis is like half the size of the kicker.... Ya, the magnet is much, and if you notice, the memphis only take 1/2 the RMS power. And personally, as a rule of thumb, I woudlnt get ...
I just bought a 2001 Yukon SLT with the factory subwoofer system. I am not impressed - the sound is very weak. I am thinking of installing my 240 watt (rms) sub amp (that I am used to listening to) and replacing the existing subwoofer (approx. 10"?) with a good quality one. I hope to duplicate the sound I had with an outboard 12" spkr.

I noticed when the weather started getting cold, the cold starts had this loud annoying ticking/tapping sound. I recently changed the oil when the oil life monitoring system read 20-25% oil life left.
Within about 100 kilometers of where I live there is a GM plant in Oshawa, a Honda plant in Alliston, and a Toyota plant I think in Cambridge, ONTARIO (And a Ford plant in Oakville). GM Oshawa last year won the JD Power & Associates award for the top auto plant in North America for product quality and reliability.
mtx=alright. jensen=crap including jensen sub-brands like phase linear. rockford speakers=good. rockford amps=very good. pioneer head units=good but seem to overheat if not well ventilated, your cd comes out all hot, experienced this in several pioneers, one even caught fire in my dash!
djs2571. 10-10-2012, 08:24 AM. I just fixed an amp from 2001 monte carlo, it was cutting in and out with temperature, and occasionally when hitting a bump or if the sub was cranked. The trunk mounted amp gets audio from the head unit, then sends it to the speakers.
