Feel free to download the templates at the download links provided in the following replies. We hope these help everyone with their prototyping and play-testing needs.
No need to glue your cards on card stock. Once you have the cards printed on a regular sheet of paper, cut them out, and then use protective card sleeves. Insert a cheap regular playing card in each sleeve and then insert your custom card to cover the face of it. These are durable, can be updated, and mistakes are easy to fix.

Microsoft Publisher Template for Game Cards. I was hoping somebody could point me to a decent easy to use template for creating prototype cards for print n play that would be fairly easy to edit. I am not a graphic designer, and not really familiar with any design apps and have been using basically Word Tables.

Apr 21, 2009. start with a fresh page, and then make 9 text boxes. Once you have them made, you should be able to resize them to 2.5' by 3.5', or what ever size you like. Make sure to add a 1 or 2 point border so you have cutting edges. If you get them lined up just right, it should be very easy to use a paper cutter to cut them out.
