    None of the other IPA for X pages use the tie-bars, including Russian and Polish which make contrasts between the two (the latter even has several minimal pairs). I've never seen any literature on Romanian marking the affricates differently than just the stop and fricative elements, including when Chitoran gives examples without orthography.
