The Catherine Park (Russian: Екатерининский парк) is the large landscaped area to the south of the Catherine Palace, located in the town of Tsarskoye Selo , 25 km south-east of St. Petersburg, Russia. The park has two parts: a formal 18th century Dutch-style garden and a natural English garden. [1]

The Creswell Gardens are located in the Adelaide Park Lands between the Adelaide Oval, War Memorial Drive, King William Road and St Peter's Cathedral. They were established in 1909 and named after South Australian sportsman John Creswell. The gardens contain a number of Adelaide's landmark features. [1]
The park was acquired by the adjacent Adelaide Botanic Garden in 1866, [1] and was formerly used as the venue for the Royal Adelaide Show from 1844 to 1859. On its northern side are an avenue of plane trees planted in 1874. [1] It is also dotted with exotic species such as century-old Moreton Bay figs from Queensland. [1]
The Sunken Gardens are 4 acres (1.6 ha) of well-established botanical gardens, located in the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg, Florida, at 1825 4th Street North. The Gardens have existed for more than a century, and are one of the oldest roadside tourist attractions in the United States.
The garden was laid out between 1783 and 1789. Prince Grigory Potemkin ordered his favourite architect, William Guld, to design and lay out the park. [1] [2] When Potemkin died in 1791, the park and palace were used by Catherine II as a residence. Afterwards it was opened to the public. In 1898, a theater was built in the park. [3]
